- Event Recap:
- ¨ Fall Picnic – Kathy reported that it went well and she received many positive comments on the change of food.
- ¨ Grave Hop – The event was a lot of fun; about 17 teams participated. L Frank indicated he did not plan to host the Grave Hop again next year, as it is very involved and time-consuming. The board mentioned that it would consider seeking other hosts for future.
- ¨ Halloween Roast – This event was a lot of fun, too, though it was modestly attended. TerriBikes+ and Stacey Bassoon did a great job with hosting and supplying everything needed to make it a success.

- Classes
- ¨ GSAK – None scheduled at this time, however, there are class materials still posted on the SLAGA website for anyone who would like to reference the lessons on his or her own.
- ¨ Queeny Park – Bill taught a class that included 11 Girl Scouts and their families, who had signed up through the St. Louis County Parks program. He indicated the class went very well, despite some minor technical glitches with the SLAGA-owned GPS devices. It helped that there were ‘live’ caches in place in the park, that nothing new or temporary had to be set up and that the participants were already in the park, with no need to leave a classroom or other location to drive elsewhere for the fieldwork portion of the class. To remedy the technical issues, Korriaan will perform ‘factory resets’ on the units prior to her loading waypoints onto the GPSrs. The next scheduled SLAGA-taught class is March 10, 2018. Those wishing to participate can sign up via the St. Louis County Parks website.
- SLAGA Geocoin
- ¨ Geocoin – Tony is waiting on samples in four color schemes to arrive.
- ¨ Pathtags – These are still in process.
- Adopt a Park – This issue has been tabled until next year. Korriaan indicated that there has been some mention of this in the parks department, however, nothing has been acted on as yet.
- Geocaching on the Greenway – Major134 participated in the making of a video promoting geocaching along the Greenway trails, and it is now live on the SLAGA.org website.
New Business

Projected presale at Christmas party. Bill suggested that ordering an additional quantity of 10-20 coins to meet demand would have been a good idea. It was mentioned that only SLAGA premium members were able to purchase the coins because we had run out of the coins before the sales could be opened to the rest of the SLAGA membership.
