- Classes
-
- Queeny Park – A class is scheduled for Saturday, 3/10/18. Bill reminded Laura of the need to update the address of the class location. At this time, the address is listed incorrectly in the class catalog. Currently, no one is signed up, however, at least two inquiries have been made to SLAGA and Bill has advised those asking to learn more about geocaching to consider the class at Queeny as an option for their needs.
-
- SLAGA Geocoin
- Geocoin – Sales were strong, but we do have some left in inventory for those who would like to make a purchase. A post was made to the SLAGA Facebook page stating availability and pricing for the remaining coins.
- Pathtags – These are still in process.
- Adopt a Park – Sunday, March 18 and Saturday, March 24 are the target dates for SLAGA to go in to work on clearing out honeysuckle and trash in Robert Winter Park. Participants will bring their own tools, however, no chainsaws will be allowed per the St. Louis County Parks guidelines. When the CITOs are published, the event CO will specify what kinds of tools are approved for use in county parks. SLAGA will provide water and light snacks to keep volunteers hydrated and energized. The use of chemical herbicides to treat the honeysuckle was discussed.
