2025 Community Christmas Celebration Event

TIS THE SEASON! This year's SLAGA Christmas Bash is a Community Celebration Event. The dictionary defines community as a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals. I’d say that fits SLAGA perfectly.
PLEASE NOTE THAT, while the restaurant has the same name, THE LOCATION HAS CHANGED!! When the previous location closed suddenly and without warning, this year’s bash almost didn’t happen. Bah Humbug! I asked other cachers for suggestions, made some inquiries, and found an event space available for this year’s celebration. Unfortunately, since this private room holds fewer folks than the previous location, we will NOT be able to have an Ugly Christmas Sweater contest. You're certainly welcome to wear your ugly sweater. After all, ugly Christmas sweater season is short, and you'd hate to make the sweater wait another year to be seen.
Besides sharing stories of caching adventures from this year, and those planned for 2026, I'm sure there will be talk of Cachemas 2025. What time, and possible location, will each day's cache appear? Rumor has it that some of the more serious Cachemas Hounds have complex spreadsheets with formulas that analyze previous Cachemas publication times and locations to predict this year's hides. Now THAT'S commitment!! And why not! An LFrank ornament is quite the trophy to adorn any geocacher's Christmas tree. Who knows, maybe you’ll get lucky and someone will share his/her prediction for when/where Day 1 will publish, or a tip on how to snag a First To Find.
