SLAGA Board Meeting
October 5, 2015 - 6:00pm

Called to order: 6:11pm

Attendance: Kathy DeWitt, Pete, Shaw, Tony Colter, Wendy Neal, Laura Million, Dave DeWitt

The September 14, 2015 Board Meeting Minutes were read. A motion to approve the September 14, 2015 SLAGA Board Meeting Minutes was made by Tony Colter and seconded by Wendy Neal with corrections from Tony Colter. The Board unanimously approved the minutes.

Treasurer’s report from September 2015 was read. Change membership coins to Milestones. A motion to approve the Treasurer’s Report was made by Pete Shaw and seconded by Tony Colter. The Board unanimously approved the minutes.

Old Business

• Brochures – Being proofed by Pete Shaw
• SLAGA Road Trips

Bling Power Run – no new information. It will probably be postponed until spring.

Jack Daniel’s Tour – Kathy DeWitt will postponed until spring.

  • Fall Picnic, remind about the Picnic on Saturday and for members to RSVP for the meat they want – Laura

    • Dave will bring the name tags. There will be no “premium member” name tags this year. Kathy will provide a list of premium members to the registration table.

Since Pi Day is on a Monday, SLAGA may offer more than one location.

• O’Fallon Parks District – woman from O’Fallon Parks District is hiding her own caches. Pete Shaw is sending her a letter introducing SLAGA and what we can do for her and the Park District.

New Business

• Inventory of trailer – Kathy DeWitt has inventoried the trailer just to see what we need for picnic. Laura Million will do a full inventory after the Fall Picnic.
• Checking account – Kathy DeWitt has opened a sub account of the SLAGA account for Geocoinfest.
