PLANT AMERICA Community Project Grants help enhance and beautify our public areas and community gardens. Project grants to NGC member clubs help educate adults and children about the joys of gardening and create a pride throughout the community. To help our local parks - each person will have the opportunity to Plant a Native Wildflower seedling for the Wild Ones MDC community project at Bush Wildlife.

Kids Activities:
-Solve a Garden Mystery
- Search for Geocache treasure boxes hidden in the park
- Paint a rock to take home.
-Plant a native tree to take home.
-Observe a bug in the park to win a Bug Journal.
- Seek out trees in the park to win a prize.
- Grow a nectar plant for butterflies and pollinators. Plant flower seeds to take home.
- Make a Mother's Day gift for Mom.
- Plant a Native Wildflower seedling for the Wild Ones MDC community project at Bush Wildlife.

Speakers:
9:30am - "Killer Trees" Bob Deardeuff, the City of O'Fallon Landscape Superintendent, will explain what is making us lose our trees in St Charles County. You could win a tree seedling!

11:00am - "Humane Wildlife Solutions" Garry Guinn will help us give our wild neighbors a helping hand as we learn to identify and control pesky yard invaders. And what to do if you find an injured animal.

12:30pm - "Native Wildflowers" Leslie Limberg, a Master Naturalist, will present a lively informative talk of the many benefits of adding native Wildflowers, plants and trees to your landscape.

2:00pm - "Bees" by Joyce Sammons, the owner of Sammons Bee Farm.
